Sideshow has been dedicated to supporting charities for many years, most notably the Make-a-Wish Foundation and the Mike Nosco Foundation. We\u2019ve raised money via auctions for seriously ill kids who were looking for a bright moment in their otherwise difficult situation.<\/p>\n

More recently, we\u2019ve attempted to focus on smaller groups that serve our local community but often struggle with their fundraising. One of the unsung groups that has done amazing work in our community is the LUX Junior Development Cycling Team, a nationally recognized bike racing team for exceptional riders under 18 years old.<\/p>\n

The LUX mission is to support and educate gifted young bike riders in the Southern California area by providing guidance on and off the bike.<\/p>\n

Some of these kids are among the most elite bike racers in the nation and already race on an international level.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Most of the staff at Sideshow live and work here in the Conejo Valley of the greater Los Angeles area, several of whom commute to work or take lunch time rides. one of the LUX co-founders is a Sideshow employee, and as such Sideshow is proud to support the LUX program, as it exemplifies the core values of teamwork, dedication and community leadership.<\/p>\n

Since 2012, we have been fortunate to witness, first-hand, the positive impact this community-based program has on our future of these young athletes. In fact, we often see the LUX team on training sessions by our offices for upcoming race events.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the success of the team and their expanding opportunities (recently invited to race in Europe and represent the US) Sideshow has pledged to make an even bigger difference by holding this auction for unique items. Our goal is to help raise as much money as possible through the sale of these items and donate 100% of the proceeds to the LUX Junior Development Cycling Team.<\/p>\n
